How to work out volume

Quick formulas
Square / Rectangle
Length × Width × Depth
Circle
π × radius² × Depth
Measure across the centre of the circle (diameter) and divide by 2 to get the radius.
Triangle
½ × Base × Height × Depth
Measure the base and the height. Height is the straight-line measurement from the base to the opposite point, at a right angle (90°) to the base.
