Edge spikes:  are used to securely fix the Link Edge aluminium garden edging strip into the ground, surface or base, by hammering through the holes located on the bottom base of the edging.

Link Edge is designed for all soil types and features the strongest, most secure spikes for maximum effectiveness.

Recommended edge spike spacing:

• Average: 1 spike every 800mm
• Straight line, Low traffic areas: 1 edge spike per metre
• Pathways and low-traffic areas: 1 edge spike per 600mm
• Driveways and high-traffic areas: 1 edge spike per 400-500mm

Edge Spikes are available in two different lengths

• 150mm Edge Spikes designed to be used with:

• 300mm Edge Spikes designed to be used with:
  • Link Edge Original 75mm and 100mm
  • Link Edge Heavy Duty 75mm and 100mm
  • ink Edge Circles 630mm and 950mm
  • Link Edge Squares 500mm and 1000mm

Spike guides:

• When using 75mm or 100mm Link Edge garden edging, the spike guide slides into the fishplate connector slot, allowing the spike to go through the guide and then the Link Edge to increase upright rigidity.
• Always install spike guides with the edge spike hole towards the bottom of the spike guide.
