  • Straight or Curved?
    • A choice of holes along each length allows for either

        • long straight runs of edging in light soils
        • or heavy-traffic areas

*What is special about corten or corten equivalent steel?

  • Corten Steel (sometimes known as weathered steel)
    • is a group of steel alloys often used in outdoor construction.
    • was designed to eliminate the need for painting
    • left outside, exposed to the elements, they develop a rusted appearance in just a few months,
      • this is a natural process and can take two to three years to stabilise.
  • Are there disadvantages to corten steel?
    • It is not Indestructible.
      • Weathering steel certainly protects against corrosion, but it isn't indestructible.
      • Corten Steel planters that don't have adequate draining capabilities, may not last as long as one that does.
